Hai Di Lao

Emma surprised me by agreeing to go to HaiDiLao today.  We reached the Bedok outlet shortly after twelve noon.  There wasn't a queue.  We were served some snacks before shown to our table.  About a 10 minute wait.
They provided aprons to protect against splatter.  We selected the mala and chicken soup.  Chose less spicy and less numb, soup turns out to be quite bland.  Ingredients were quite standard or at least what we ordered.  Like the soya bean milk and the la mian presentation which was given complimentary.  To have the sauces is an additional $4 top up which is almost a must.  But fortunately they did not charge Emma.

Meal ended with a fruit platter, ice cream and mentos.  Overall a nice experience, service was attentive but not over.
